So long to those impulsive silent chants, “Oh, I hope I spelled everything right. I hope it was the correct email address, etc…” even though you’ve checked and proofread the message a thousand times – figuratively.
Now, after years of experimentation my email-sending friends, Google has come to the rescue with the announcement that they will implement an “Undo Send” option in Gmail!
And…collectively –WooHoo!
Now, this in no way serves as a sign to get restless with your email etiquette, of course. The new tool, which you have to enable, allows you a 5 to 30 second delay to confirm your change of heart.
The Google addition can be found by clicking on the settings option in Gmail and scrolling midway through to general tab.
